David is such a fun and silly kid. He loves to pretend that his food (particularly croutons, but any thing will work) is trucks or trains. He also pretends that he is a train...and so is everyone else, except Allyssa. Allyssa refuses to be a train. David tried, but now he's resigned to the fact that she's just Allyssa. If I ask him what train she is, he'll say, "Allyssa doesn't pretend."
David has been Thomas, Edward, Duck, and many, many other trains. Kaytlin joins in the fun, usually to be Emily. Mommy is often Belle. Daddy has been a few different trains, but right now he is Hector. Papa has been a few different trains, and Grandma occasionally is a train as well.
Sometimes, Edward's wheels don't work, and he doesn't move. He just stands there. In the middle of a soccer field, a grocery store, the yard...he's not partial as to where he just stands still. (Of course this is David pretending to be Edward.)
This week David learned how to pump himself on the swing.
Allyssa learned to hang upside down from the bar and flip off, get onto the bar by herself, and get up onto the top of the bar sitting upright by herself.
