On Life Insurance and Death

When your life insurance company starts funding killing people, it might be time to start looking for a new life insurance company.

It took us a while to get everything rolling, but that is the step that our family took, and starting this April we will no longer be with Thrivent Financial. We were a bit concerned about switching companies because we are both now either near or over 30 and simply not as young anymore. Thankfully, we have been aware of our health in recent months and had taken steps to get healthier, so our physicals weren't as eye opening as they could have been. In fact, we not only have changed insurance agencies, but we lowered our bill in doing so.

I understand that changing life insurance companies might not work out financially for everyone, but for those of us who are concerned about life issues and who have policies with Thrivent, it is worth checking out. If you live in the Houston area, I'd be happy to recommend the insurance agency that we went through for our new policies, Adams Insurance.
