From Cookies to Ceilings - we're keeping busy

David is busy with Christmas stuff at church. Cantata this week, Advent services, and the like. He is also busy fixing everything in the house. He fixed several doors this weekend so that they don't rub anymore. He's pulled useless wires out of the walls and plugged up the holes. He's sanded the ceiling and working on lighting in the kitchen and the garage. He's busy!!

Allyssa has done some art projects. She's painted little plastic thingies. I'm sure you know exactly what a thingy is. She's made a wreath out of cardboard and glued leaves, holly berries, and a bow to it, she's made a Christmas card collage, colored countless pictures of Mary talking to an angel, the trip to Bethlehem, and shepherds. She decorated Christmas cards and envelopes to send to the great grandmas and her baptismal sponsors and Mack and Ashton from Raymondville. She cut out sugar cookies, painted them with colored egg yolk, baked, and ate them. She's busy!!

David is busy learning to crawl. He does pretty good. He also has learned to stand and has cut 2 teeth. Well, one and almost another. He loves to play with all of Allyssa's toys. He's busy!!

I've been busy getting MOPS ready for Jan 14th! That's our first meeting date. We have childcare taken care of now, and lots of volunteers for the Steering Committee. We have our first meeting on Monday and hope to get lots figured out!

Hope you are having a great time in your house and keeping busy, too!
