Star of the Week

Last week Allyssa was Star of the Week at school. She got to take photos of herself to school to go on the bulletin board and answer questions about herself for the weekly class newsletter. She also got to do some special chores in the classroom each day. She was very happy about being the Star of the Week. She also told about herself.
She is five years old and her favorite color is yellow. Her favorite food is macaroni, her favorite song is "Jesus Loves Me," and her favorite thing to do is play on the bounce house. When she grows up, she wants to be a mommy. She knows Jesus loves her because He died on the cross. Allyssa said the best part of being Star of the Week was doing calendar.

She was so excited about being Star of the Week that her excitement bubbled over to David who asked to be Star of the Week at home this week. Today he answered some questions about himself.

What is your favorite color? I don't have a favorite color. Oh, my favorite color is orange.
What is your favorite food? Macaroni and Cheese!
What is your favorite place to go? ZOO!
What is your favorite song? "Old MacDonald"
What is your favorite book? The Old MacDonald book
What do you want to be when you grow up? Superhero
When is your birthday? March 19

Later he asked for his favorite animal to be added. It is horse.


I guess I need to make macaroni and cheese more often. We have it about twice a year currently!
