Learning about giving

Today, Allyssa, David, and I went to the store to get some clothes for a couple of angels. I was talking to Allyssa about what we were doing. Here's how it went:

Me: Allyssa's we're going to the store to buy some clothes for a couple of little girls.
A: Why? Are they naked?
Me: No, they're not naked, but they need some clothes. They don't have cousins like you do who give them hand-me-downs.
A: Oh. I like hand-me-downs.
Me: Good.
A: Are there more girls who don't have clothes?
Me: Yes. There are lots of girls who need clothes.
A: Will other mommies and daddies help?
Me: Yes.

Later, at the store

A: Do the girls need toys and games?

Later, still at the store

A: Do boys need clothes?
