If you've been following me for a long time, you probably know that Allyssa has asthma. Last October we finally went to an Asthma/Allergist. She was tested for allergies and has none. That's good because she will likely grow out of her asthma if she doesn't develop allergies.
Allyssa was sick often from about 5 months until about 3 1/2 when we finally got her asthma under control with advice from her new doctor.
She's been very healthy since.
Today's appointment was one to reduce meds. We are reducing her maintenance med by 50%!!! This is the one that stunts growth (only in the first year of using it), so I'm happy to hear that! A growth spurt wouldn't be a bad thing for our little one. :) She is adding a multi-vitamin to try to help her body defend itself from anything (with vit C in the cooler months). All is looking well!
