Allyssa: What is your favorite thing to do?
Me: Hang out with you and David and Daddy.
Allyssa: But Daddy's not here that much.
Me: Sometimes he's at work.
Allyssa: So we miss him a lot.
Me: Yeah.
Allyssa: Sometimes we go visit him, but sometimes he's not there.
Me: Sometimes he's visiting people.
Allyssa: Yeah.
A child's perception on their parent(s) working can be so heartbreaking. She simply adores her daddy. And I wouldn't have it any other way.
